As for the team, 9 goals conceded in three games it must be the strikers who are not doing their job, or is it the midfielders?.

According to Lee Clarke, Trotman is a Tower in defence!, what a load of rubbish, bring back Nathan, get Berrett into midfield, and give Collins another chance in midfield, is it a coincidence that after giving Danny D a run in the last three games we are conceding!. Anthony Kay has been out of sorts for a few games now, perhaps it's time for a rest!.

I'm with you there Mo .. I know I go a bit OTT at times but hey you've gotta wonder how Clarky goes about choosing which players to bring to the club ..

Do we all think he uses the Old Newspaper/Grand National technique where one circles the page with a pin and pricks one .. ?

O K I know when he arrived as a complete novice he asked the club secretary to find out who were the rest of the divisions players of the year and fax them thru to him ..

following which he thought yeah they must be good so he signed 2 or 3 of em .. but what since then .. ?

I fail to see how you can bring a (critical position) player in one week .. (Heffernan) .. Play him and then just a few weeks later .. not just drop him to the subs bench .. but out of the squad altogether .. ?

lee clark is a ****** were loosing games in midfield kay has been **** all season and drinkwater is a **** we need some bite in there some experience id like to see clark t and collins in there, trotman should be sent back with ecclestone we dont need them we already have better here nathan clarke is solid trotman is far from this, you all cant honestly believe were gonna get top 6 can u, i know we wont were not good enough

Naughty Naught JK, iS HE (Southgate) EXPERIENCED ENOUGH?.
Seriously, we seem to be in flux at the moment, one match up then two on a down!, we need consistency and we aint getting any.
Tom Clark is a good lad but a better midfielder than right back, Heffernann showed promise against Leeds, but did not set me alight, perhaps we need Joe (dare I say it ) Skarz back?.
before Trotters, Heffernan, and Eccles cake we were doing ok, wer'nt we?, still we've a few matches to recover ?,
or do we?.

True Mo .. But what on earth was it he saw in Heffernann that suggested to him he was the man to cure our left back ailments .. ?

For the life of me I thought all of us and him knowing what we know about that bogey position he'd have brought in a banker for that slot .. If we were to have a decent shot at Promo that position HAD to be made secure !! .. Obviously it has not ..

Look if nothing else he may get wind of this 'unease' and lets hope it serves as a timely reminder/kick up the pants for him to take a long hard look at his own performance .. Which is NOWHERE near good enough ..

If we look at his performance, (on the touchline) and compare it with that of Jacko, they are both very similar, except Jacko did not have the financial clout that Clarke has been given, and to all the contributors to this forum I love this club , but dont feel that the Manager and his entourage are gaining the support of the true fans here. I am sick of excuses, the blame is at the top.
