Hey - you guys were just murdered tonight by us Saints. We played you off the park, just like we did Walsall - 10 goals in two games!! Unbeaten in 2010!! Can't believe you are still up there in the top 6. We're on our way to ****** your place in the top 6...watch out for us... 5-0, 5-0, 5-0, 5-0.....LOL

Saintade..

Here's just a few points to ponder before you get carried away too much.

1) We murdered both Brighton and the Saints earlier in the season in a 4 day period and scored 10 goals in doing so. I seem to remember that Brighton stuffed your lot 3-1 at St Mary's.

2) With 14 points to make up, I think a play-off place is well out of reach for Saints this season and it looks like you will be spending another year Division One. :(

3) How many of your stars will be prepared to stay with Saints, when many Championship clubs chase them in the close season. My guess is not many, particularly when they will also be able to offer them far more money.

4) Before you start crowing too much, I seem to remember yuor neighbours and Hampshire's leading club, POMPEY, recently gave you a 4-1 mauling also at St Mary's. :D

soton are on a good run but they haven't made any progress on the play-off places since xmas. it just shows how difficult it is to make up ground. 14 points is way too much at this stage to make up on two of the better teams in the division. very frustrating for soton fans i'm sure, but forget the play-offs
