WHERE IS EVERYONE

Postby MNTerrier » "Wed Feb 24, 2010 12:07 am"

we win 3 games...away games...in a row, we move back into the playoffs. we're unbeaten in the league in 10 games and this forum is quieter than a church mouse with laryngitis.
its not just a place to complain you know, you are allowed to say nice things about huddersfield town.

how about , nice job lads, 3 solid results away in the space of a week.
or seems like the new guys in the back four are working well together.
and the center midfield have done well Kay and Drinkwater are finding their form

go on try it ...it feels pretty good .

Well said MNTerrier.

Haven't been posting for a while cause all it is, is moan moan moan.

13 points out of 15 away from home and all goes quiet.

I posted earlier in season stating that we'd played all the top teams away which was why such a poor away record.

I agree we're still not the finished article but we are moving in the right direction.

So come on all you knockers give the lads some credit, I think there is now only 3 teams won more on the road than the Terriers.

Credit where credits due eh???????????

They're on the Messageboard. Much easier to use and less hassle.
Very few people can bother to join the forum re Town - too much hassle. Why don't you (jkboots and others) contribute to the messageboard and get comments from all the other users of the board.

Simon.

The "messageboard" is the biggest load of garbage out there and is dominated in the main immature school kids, who use it as a chat show to pass the time of day and it is totally lacking in any substance.

Personally, I don't contribute much on here these days, simply because since it was revamped it's far too much hassle to get on. Previously, a couple of clicks of the mouse and I was on straight away, whilst now it's half a dozen clicks and long pauses in between, waiting for the next stage to open up. I always thought that when a Forum or anything else was upgraded, it was to improve it, but in my particular case it has made it an absolute pain to use.

So if the moderator, Andrew Jackson, reads this, I would say to him "get your act together before it's too late and fix the problems"

Finally, hate him or love him, the site is badly missing JK Boots and the sooner he gets back from Afganistan/Pakistan the better. He might be controversal at times, but he certainly encourages much debate and keeps things bubbling along all the time, and it now looks as though his claim to be "The Master Poster" is proving to be very true.

Ok, I take your point but I work shifts and hav'nt been on for a few days. However I must admit and am also overjoyed that the team have done so well these last three games.

I still reserve my judgment on Trotman, and I feel that this Saturdays game will be the telling point for him, we will see what he does against decent opposition!.

As for Jkboots, give him a rest he's just about kept this forum going for most of the year.

As for moaning I think as a paying supporter I have a right to criticise, when I feel that the team or certain players are not playing up to standard, and also comment on team selection matters.

Your quite right Mo everyone is entitled to a moan and a groan and rightly so.

It just seem to me that every post was a moan that's all.

Hope no offence taken none intended.

Agree with you on the Trotman, and having gone to watch the reserves last week against a very poor Rotherham outfit, Nathan Clarke was a big plus looking sharp and very solid, Pearce looked as though time to settle in needed.

So like you say Saturday could be a big day for Trotman, hopefully he'll have a blinder and make us eat our words.

Okay, i'm back now we got stuffed 5-0!

Actually, I'm here to say Town are 5 or 6 points better off than I thought they would be a few weeks ago. Feb was the toughest month so far, and it could have ended Town's season. As it is 3 away wins has kept the play-off hopes alive. I always expected a defeat at Soton.

Looking to Gillingham they have got nearly all their points at home. Their home record is almost as good as Soton. So it might be a mistake to expect an easy return to form on Saturday.
